Obedience Class Sign-Up Information

How To Sign Up:

  • Sign up, in person, for classes are on the first Wednesday of each month (January – October). Sign up is always at 7:00 pm. We do not offer a complete online sign up…yet. You will still need to come at the sign up time listed below for orientation.
  • Next sign up & orientation is March 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM
  • Sign up and classes are held at the West Jordan Utah National Guard Armory, 7602 So. Airport Road, West Jordan, UT *Click For Directions*. Entry for sign up and all classes will be on the South side of the building which is on the west side of the road.
  • All classes are 8 week courses.
  • Please bring your vaccination record for your dog that will be attending classes.
  • Sign up will include a short orientation and demonstration regarding our club and classes.
  • We ask that dogs are left at home for sign up night.
  • Class Fees/Prices are listed per dog.

  • S.T.A.R Puppy Obedience: Dogs ages 10 weeks to 5 months. Class size limited to 12. 
  • Beginning Obedience: Dogs ages 5 months and up. Class size limited to 12.
  • Advanced Obedience/Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA) Prep: Class size limited to 12.

Wednesday Class Times Alternate between 7:00 & 7:45.

All dogs are invited to train with and join the Great Salt Lake Dog Training Club.

This club is a not for profit organization dedicated to helping the general public train their dogs to be good citizens. We focus on promoting responsible dog ownership and participation in activities with dogs.
